"Oh I do like to be beside the seaside... Oh I do like to be beside the sea... Te tum te tum te tum te tum..." 

It's been a month since I sent my last email to those on my email list (I do try not to send too many out and bombard people). So if you would like to get on my email list please do sign up and I'll keep you in the loop with only important stuff and new patterns on the site.

The manta rays and dolphins bring me very happy memories of my holiday to Bali. Hence a few seaside-themed knitted toys recently!

Knitted Manta Rays

Complete Size – 12 cm width x 15 cm height

Total time – 2 Hours 20 Minutes each knitted Manta Ray

4mm knitting needles (UK 8, US 6)

Double knitting yarn – Dark blue and cream, or as per preference

Make them into a lovely homemade picture using a box frame, with a couple of added seashells!

Knitted Dolphins

Big Dolphin Complete size - 5cm height x 10cm width x 13.5cm length

Small Dolphin Complete size - 5cm height x 10cm width x 11.5cm length

Total time – 2 Hours 15 Minutes (approx.) each Knitted Dolphin

4mm knitting needles (UK 8, US 6) s (UK 8, US 6)

Double knitting yarn – Grey or as per preference

I am back in sunny England, but the memory shall be reignited daily when I see my little knitted manta rays on the wall!

Back on British Soil... 

I do hope to continue this new love of outdoor knitting. Fresh air, combined with the joy of knitting something unique - wonderful wellbeing!

So I'm now swapping those Bali views for English gardens, and town and country parks. Combining my love of nature and knitting, and getting plenty more inspiration.
